I've been nominated for the ActiveState Programmer's Choice Awards. Not only have I been nominated, but I'm the only person who has been nominated in two categories! So to everyone who nominated me, thanks!
Other lucky nominees are Schwern, Michael Peppler (DBD::Sybase author), Damian Conway, and $Bill Luebkert (a guy who is extremely helpful on a lot of mailing lists, especially the Win32 lists where he helped me a lot when I was starting out).

Now, I'll freely admit that I know nothing about PHP development. So what am I to do? Pick someone at Random? I hate to think of all the PHP and Python people picking Perl person at random. All these people have done such good work they deserve to have the votes that they get mean something.
