Excellent buy
Went to the local second hand bookstore on Saturday, and got some real bargains:
Programming in C++ by Jean Ettinger (not a fantastic book on the subject, but better than the one I have). £1.
C By Example by Noel Kalicharan (again, not the best book on C, but better than what I have). £1.
Delphi 2 By Example, a Que book by Scott L. Warner and Paul Goldsman. I wanted this because I'm trying to play around a bit with Kylix. £1.
And the bargain of the century...
Paul Graham's "On Lisp", for just £1.
