Wanted: Sparc geeks

[ #21009 ]

DBD::SQLite does not work on sparc at all. It fails under both solaris and linux.

I need your help to figure out why and send me a patch! I don't have a solaris box so can't even begin to debug it.

  • I unfortunately do not have time to work on this myself, but I do have a Sun Ultra-60 at home that I use for development. As this would greatly help my own project, I'm more than happy to give you an account on that.
    • This is the kind of thing, which makes me proud to be a member of the Perl community.

      Nice move :)
  • I've been using DBD::SQLite on SPARC for the past several months. Admittedly, this is the Debian Testing package, so it's not the newest, and I didn't install it by hand, but it's definitely there and it's definitely working.
  • A patch will be on the way shortly.
