Kill a spammer
Last night it seems the VP-RX (penis enlargement pills) spammers stepped up their actions. Not sure if it was just against me, or if everyone felt this.
In one night I received about 100,000 identical VP-RX spams. All to me. Another account got over 5000. I have still to account for all of it.
The onslaught appears to have stopped at 7:30am.
I'm pretty sure it was a personal attack. It was actually useful for me because I'm alpha testing my spam quarantine code at home. Now I know it scales well

I think the spammers must have a had a conversation like the following.
spammer1: "fire away!"
pause...
spammer2: "hmmm nothing, its like it is only growing stronger"
spammer1: "my god, its feeding on it"
spammer2: "RUN!"
silence...
