OK, so my Halloween module apparently is XML::LibRSVG, an interface to gnome's librsvg. There's no web page for librsvg as yet, so no link here.
Basically it allows you to generate a PNG from an SVG file (it only works on files). It works, and so I'm happy enough for now. I intend to see if it will work for my photo album thumbnails.
I carved the pumpkin today too. Taking hfb's idea of a perl pumpkin, I thought a camel was in order. I'll upload some photo's later. I think it looks pretty cool. I hope the neighbours don't think it's some eastern secret message...
YAY :) (Score:2)
Post your pictures! :) I did a camel pumpkin [wustl.edu] last year too, but it wasn't as cool as the Perl design. Nokia had a huge pumpkin carving contest for all the employees kids tonight that looked like a lot of fun...a few bizarro designs but overall not too shabby. It might be fun to have an annual 'carve the pumpking' contest :)
