Mac OS X PDF Plugin

[ #10634 ]

Not sure if you've seen this one before, but Mac OS X users who view a lot of PDFs but hate launching separate viewers (either Preview.app or Acrobat Reader) might want to check out Schubert IT's PDF Plugin. Works in Safari, Chimera and Mozilla (not sure about IE, I never use it).

  • I grabbed it -- thanks for the pointer!

  • I hate reading PDF in the browser. I don't know why. It just seems like it is easier in the separate app.

I can think of only one benefit: Adobe's PDF plugin can start displaying a multipage PDF before the rest loads in. But that's seldom a real issue for me.
