Blog continues

As I mentioned here a couple of years ago, I now have a blog.

It sometimes touches on Perl.

This article discusses the concept of "undefined behavior" in Perl, drawing in examples from C, Haskell, and XML.

This article is about calculating the square root of a function when all you have is its Taylor series expansion. There's code in Perl and Haskell, and I compare the relative terseness of the two languages. Then I talk about syntax that Perl needs but doesn't have.

Happy birthday, Perl!

Higher-Order Perl discussion list

I've created a mailing list for discussion of the content of my new book Higher-Order Perl. To subscribe, send email to hop-discuss-subscribe@plover.com, or submit the form at the HOP web pages.

There's also a digest form of the list.
