You know you're addicted to texting when..

According to this article, some girl send 6807 messages last month. Last month had 31 days. That makes it approx 219 messages a day. At 24 hours a day, that would mean that a 17 year old girl sent 9 text messages an hour... for 24 hours a day. How is this even phyiscally possible?? Don't these people have lives to live? I've heard about the gameboy thumb but the text messaging thumb??

  • So texting reached the states. These figures actually don't suprise me at all. I know a couple people that used to reach that level when they were in their late teens. That was around 2000.

  • They usually reach such high numbers by bulk messaging to a bunch of people. The messages are sent and billed individually, but you type only one.
