I'm in one of my regular burnouts. I can get things done at work just fine (although I can't really afford not to). I'm feeling great.. I have no real worries (or maybe I just don't care). The thing is that I'm not in an MSN mood, I'm not in a perl mood, I'm not in an IRC mood..I am in a Mojito mood and a book-reading mood.. I'm in a fitness and jogging mood. Is this the beginning of the end?

  • One of the symptoms that you have a burnout coming your way is that you have no idea that you're in the risk zone.

So, since you're anticipating one, you're safe. Isn't that reassuring? :)
    • Oh joy.. But the questions remains: Who slipped this happy-happy potion in my coffee? Why is this affecting my leisure time perl coding and why isn't it affecting my pheromone glands?
