I remember having a conversation in Belfast during supper the day before the conference. IIRC it was with the group from Messagelabs and XS4All. Someone mentioned the fact the Sophos' (I think) codebase was quite crappy and that is was free for use...

Will that person now please stand up?

  • It was our Bob who said that Sophos was slow IIRC, but Jos who said the source code was available. I doubted that, thinking he might have been talking about libsavie or something that integrates the SAV library.

    Use clam though. It works really well.
