Praise the fashionably late
I had a dinner appointment around 7 PM yesterday but as usual, I left work rather late and still had to go to the store. Around 6.30 I called to move the appointment back 30 minutes. At 7 PM I got home, starting cleaning up the place like mad and at 7.40 PM (fashionably late), Ulrike arrived... and she brought the steaks. I forgot the mushrooms for the Stroganoff sauce and I also was out of cognac :( We decided to use Port instead. The ostrich was excellent and Ulrike made a very nice salad dressing. I opened a Hagelander white wine and we chatted for quite a while. The topic? Relationships!
