Forgive me father, for I have sinned... It's been WAY too long since my last confession.

I'm afraid I've commited a cardinal sin. I misled a client into believing a current project has advanced more than it truly is. Although I claim full responsibility, he pushed the envelope and there was no other way of achieving what needed to be achieved than by faking it...

I will humbly accept one hour of Windows support as a token of my repents.

  • Misled sounds so much better than lying, doesn't it?
    • Well, I am a sales representative.. also sounds a lot better than liar.
      • Oops, sorry.

I thought you were solely a technical type.

Since you're a sales rep, such behaviour should be expected by anyone speaking with you. It's just the nature of the game!

        Caveat emptor!
        • My business card says Sales Representative but I, somehow, do a lot on development and support. Ofcourse, I work in a SME so everyone does a bit of everything. I'm the only one daring to touch Delphi so I'm stuck on Windows support too :(
