Manhunter vs Red Dragon

[ #14056 ]
Now that I've seen both Manhunter as Red Dragon, I really should get the book. I missed some bits in Manhunter that I liked in Red Dragon and I notice some things in Manhunter that are better than in Red Dragon. Both William Petersen and Edwart Norton are good actors IMHO, as are both actors that play Lecter (Brian Cox and Anthony Hopkins). I actually prefered Ralph Fiennes in Red Dragon (ofcourse the tattoo was a nice extra to the plot, as well as the scene where he goes to the museum).

On a totally unrelated note: Why do distributions always break seconds before you plan to do a first release? Is it the law? Is it bad planning? Is it bad testing?? :)
