Pasta Salad

[ #12909 ]
Supper for two:

250 grams of spirelli

1/4th of a cucumber

1/2 red pepper

2 eggs

some fresh basil leaves

1 small tomato

1 small red onion

Mayonaise

This is the salad my aunt used to make when we were visiting in Ireland. We originally dubbed it Irish Salad. Go figure.. Yes, this dish is supposed to be eaten cold.

Prepare the spirelli like you would normally. Boil in some water, add olive oil or one of those cubes to stop it from sticking. Once it's done, use a sieve and rinse it with cold water. Let it cool off. Boil the eggs, let em cool off and dice them. Dice the cucumber and the onion too. Empty the tomato and dice it too, as well as the red pepper. Chop up the basil. By this time, the spirelli should be cooled off. Throw everything in a large bowl, add some mayonaise and mix.

Pardon my ignorance of proper culinary terms.
