Technorati Sucks
I struggle to find words suitable to express how disgusted I am, both that this is necessary and that I'm willing to do it.

What do you get out of it?
I understand the technical details: this is how you get technorati to index your use perl journal and how you convince it that this is your blog.
My question is what benefit do you hope to obtain from that?
Admittedly I may be living under a rock. I know little about technorati, and it's never done anything for me.

I see this as positive both because I work as a contractor/consultant, and also because I hope I can provide some small additional level of encouragement to people to do the "right" thing, in the areas I care about.
