perl 5.6.1 TRIAL1 Released

Gurusamy Sarathy has released TRIAL1, the first trial release, of perl 5.6.1. Don't use it on your production systems, but please do download it and try it out, if you are so inclined.

  Is there a someplace (online) that lists the differences between 5.6.1 so far and 5.6.0?

  Yes, I noticed this today when I installed a new system, and was trying to install Bundle::libnet with CPAN.pm... it seems to think that Bundle::libnet just can't live without the new perl. Garrr! just gimme my libnet, I don't need an upgrade when it still has "TRIAL" tacked on.

  I'll second that. I found it annoying. Does CPAN need a patch to filter out "TRIAL" versions?
