Years ago I wrote BaseLib module and uploaded to CPAN. I wasn't sure about that namespace since it was a root one, but that was the first came to mind. I found that FindBin might be a good root namespace for BaseLib, and I knew that Nick was co-author of FindBin beside the famous Tk. So I wrote Nick to ask permission if I could use FindBin::Lib to rename BaseLib. And he said OK (unfortunately I just can't find my archive about our correspondency).

And now I feel bad because I haven't reworked BaseLib for more than five years, and I just found about Nick passed away from brian d foy's posting on perlmonks.org today.

I owe him, and I'll surely pay by reworking BaseLib, or FindBin::Lib, or whatever namespace I end up with. Thanks Nick, and good bye!
